Clubis

This blog, Clubis, began as a blip of an idea I didn’t realize I had until yesterday. I technically had the idea a month or two ago while I was wondering how I could talk about my three and a half gazillion ideas in an efficient and effective way. The answer, of course, is Clubis.

Wondering about the name? So am I. I think I made it up when I was playing crazy eights and I got board with saying simply, “Spades” or “Hearts” when I changed the suit. 

I quickly become bored with things. So, I started changing the names of the suits so they’d be more fun to say. I changed hearts to “Hizarts,” diamonds to “Diamondaze,” spades to “Spehdahdaze,” and clubs to “Clubis.” 

I liked Clubis the best, and it was the first thing I thought of when I was trying to name this blog. And it has the sound of the word “clue” in it, so you could almost pretend that it makes sense. Almost.
